How Effective is Crime Stoppers?

Since inception, the Crime Stoppers Program has received numerous tips resulting in thousands of arrests and recovery of substantial amounts of property.  Tips have included information about murders, robberies, rapes, assaults, drugs, firearms, and other offenses.

The success of a Crime Stoppers Program is not judged purely by statistics, as there are other noted benefits:
